Finally meeting the team, a Canadian, an Australian, an Irish, and myself. The tour company arranged for us to visit some more famous temples around Katgmandu. At one the sites, Boudhanath Stupa, we even got a free Thanka tour by one of the masters.
Even though we were not able to go in to the second site to visit Pashupati Nath, we were able to see the cremation ceremony right behind it. The contrast between the lively tourists and silence down by the deceased formed a huge contrast.
