As I still had a few days before I leave for my flight back home. Rafting seemed to be a good idea. Famous for the altitude, Nepal’s landscape was also perfect for rafting.
I sat on the bus with a group of Nepalese work-friends who decided that they want to spend their only weekend day to raft and drink(that’s right! Their weekend only has one day). They accepted me as part of the group and even invited me to drink with them. It was a great day getting to know the Nepalese people; especially the younger generation. As I was leaving Nepal the next day, these interactions reinforced my great impression of Nepal in the 3 and half weeks there.
