The next few days were spent on our little yacht Golondrina. But before jumping on the boat, we organized a short visit to the Darwin research station to see the giant turtles.

Smile!
Many of the turtles have funny stories associated with them, especially sex stories. Just fittingly so, it was mating season. I think we have seen more than our fair share of turtle pornos XD.

The following days’ visit to Isabella and Rabida brought us more chances to snorkel, see some wildlife, and to just relax.

Little did we know, the highlight of our trip has yet to come. The night before our scheduled departure, I spotted some Galapagos sharks circling our boat. The smell of our food attracted fish which attracted sharks, stingrays, and pelicans. Slowly, 7 sharks stayed around our boat trying to feed. They stayed and enjoyed their dinner well into the next morning.
And before we know it, it was time to bid fair well to our nice little boat.

Goodbye Golondrina!
